Argentina is really where all the action is!
The Red Deer are equal to Australia as far as trophy quality. Asiatic Water Buffalo are also available here. I hunted Water Buffalo here because the trophy fee was less that Australia.The fishing is par with New Zealand (world class) and the wing shooting is unbelievable: On a days dove hunt, expect to shoot in excess of 1500 rounds! While duck shooting, expect 200-300 rounds per day!. Argentina is a very modern country with European flair. Not a primitive country.
There are also some horror stories about hunters getting ripped off from this part of the world. Be sure you are booked with a reputable outfitter (there are several good ones).

Cuando decimos RÁTIDAS Nos referimos a las aves terrestres en general y en particular al Ñandú (Paleognathae - Superorden). Sus antepasados que sí podían volar optaron en algún momento por el uso de las extremidades inferiores (patas) como medio de locomoción principal. Por tanto las alas se les atrofiaron o -eventualmente- las especializaron para otras funciones que aún ignoramos. Hoy hallamos que las de éste grupo tienen las referidas extremidades muy pequeñas si las comparamos con el tamaño y peso del cuerpo.
