2012 - Argentina: Guaminí it is a great place to find Quail

In Argentina it is a beautiful hunting, you will be amazed by the variety of quails available in Guaminí.

A large member of the Tinamou family it has a curved bill and a black cap with characteristic red primaries.

Spotted Nothura.The Spotted Nothura is one of the better known of the tinamous. It is found from north east of Argentina to central Uruguay and inhabits savanna, scrub, caatinga as well as agricultural land.

Elegant-crested Tinamou. the average size of the male is about 15 inches and 2 inches tall, female is slightly larger, is territorial and resist other quail being in their space

We usually combine the morning duck or goose hunt with afternoon, quails or pigeon hunting.
