HOW TO BOOK THE HUNT
We require you to sign a simple contract with all the
details of your future hunt. We will send you this contract by regular
email or fax, please read it carefully, sign it, and return a copy to
our offices. Also we require a deposit of 21% of total hunt cost. Money
deposit: The details will be provided.
VISA: The United States citizens
do not need a visa to visit Argentina. Call the Argentine embassy in
your country for more information.
VACCINES: None are needed.
BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT:
If your hunting destination is Santa Rosa City (La
Pampa) , booking an international flight arriving to Buenos Aires in the
morning and leaving back to your country in the evening (after 9.30 p.m.
) is always the ideal plan. This is because the domestic flights to
Santa Rosa leave Buenos Aires at 01.00 p.m. and come back to Buenos
Aires at 06.00 p.m. , giving enough time to connect with your
international flight. Domestic flights are only Mondays, Wednesdays and
Fridays , and they leave from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (Bs.As's domestic
airport), located 45 minutes drive from Ezeiza International Airport.
For other destinations: We can send you by email.
Important: domestic flights are subject to change.
Please check with US before booking the international flights.
GUN PERMITS (firearms by hunters):
You not
need to make any permits in your home country. You will be required to
declare the guns upon arrival at Buenos Aires International Airport in
Ezeiza. All rifles except the fully automatic are allowed as well as all
shotguns and handguns. Up to 300 rounds of ammunition is also legal to
import.
We can send you by email the required importation
form, or you can download it directly from the Argentine Ministry of
Defense at :

(in Spanish).
Once in Buenos Aires Airport ,
you will be directed to the Policía Aeronáutica office, before going
through Customs. Your guns will then be inspected by the authorities and
the paperwork signed. The permits are good for 60 days and the cost is
$180 (local money) per gun (about u$s 60). A person from our company
will be there to help you if required.
Argentine Ministry of
Defense (English): RENAR has not yet regained
its status for quality management systems and product certification
bodies. The administrative capacity of RENAR still needs to be
significantly improved in order to ensure accreditation at
USA standards. Preparations in this field
should be accelerated.
RECEPTION AT THE AIRPORT
At Buenos Aires
(international airport) a
person from T.A.P.A.S.A. will be waiting to transport you to the domestic
airport. This service is included in the cost of your hunt and there's no
additional charge. In their final destination your PH will be waiting to begin
the hunt.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Dark: Hat.Gloves (only for the
night). Raincoat. It's always recommended to bring some special items like:
flashlight, knife, hunting boots (no regular shoes, as the thorns are bad).
Also, your hunting scope as well as your binoculars should preferably have big
diameter lenses to capture more light in order to see better at poor light
conditions.Long range shots are rare. Most will be at no more than 150 yards.
TAXIDERMY:
T.A.P.A.S.A. can export your trophies salted and dried, or
we can take them to a local taxidermist. We have good quality taxidermy and
the cost is somewhere around one third of the regular cost in the US or Europe.
It is important to note that after taxidermy has been done, the shipping cost
will be 30/40% higher due to the bigger volume.

TOURISM
2012
As a tourist destination has a lot to offer;over a
quarter of its land designated as protected National Parks. Still you can be
able to explore quite remote areas that have not yet been exposed to much
tourism.
In this way Iguazú Falls can still provide some of
that "explorers atmosphere". Reaching the peak of Aconcagua at 6.959 Mts.,above
sea level is a milestone worth achieving :
