Camouflaged blinds are prepared in the best ponds to start
shooting before the sun comes up every day. Decoys are placed every morning in
the chosen blinds. We scout the area every day for best hunting possibilities,
and we never shoot 2 times in the same place, in order not to over hunt one
specific area.
Duck Species available are: Crested duck, Brown Pintail,
Silver teal, Speckled teal, Brazilian duck, Rosy-billed pochard, Red shoveler,
Cinnamon teal, White-cheeked pintail, Fulvous tree duck, Black-bellied tree
duck.
Hunters may expect to shoot above 150 shells per morning,
getting sometimes up to 400.

The Geese
Blinds are prepared by our staff every morning, normally in
crop fields where the geese feed. Decoys are placed to attract the birds to
the blinds (normally 2 or 3 hunters are put together to maximize the shooting).
Groups of birds from 3 to 100 will start to arrive as soon as the darkness is
gone. Every hunter in the blind is able to shoot, as the average number of
birds per group is 7 to 20.
The hunt can extend to 11.00am (3 hours aprox) and there
is no limit in terms of number of birds to take.
Once the morning hunt is finished, and after taking the
photos, we go back to the Estancia
(ranch) for lunch. A short
"siesta" can be taken after the meal, and at 3.30pm we go back to the fields
for some "perdiz" or dove hunt. Geese can not be hunted in the afternoon, but
if the hunter prefers, a duck hunt can be organized.
